Belly Dancing Attire

Belly Dancing Attire Biography
Fahtiem has performed throughout the United States, including engagements on cruise ships and performances on cable and network TV.  Her love and commitment to the dance is evident in her efforts to motivate each dancer to their individual best. It has been said that "Fahtiem truly has a master's touch. The simplest movement is presented with incredible focused energy. The quality of Fahtiem's movements is what we all strive for." Her style is soulful and dynamic. Her movement expressive and clear. On stage her ability to reach and entertain an audience with warmth and humor is delightfully apparent. As a teacher Fahtiem conveys not only solid form and technique, but the subtle nuance that makes this dance magical.

In addition to being the Producer/Director of this annual belly dance convention and stage production known as Oasis Dance Magic, Fahtiem is the Special Event and Entertainment Coordinator/Performer for the Caspian Restaurant, a position she also held at the Athenian and Zorba's Restaurants.  Fahtiem, with the Sultan's Delites, has been a performer at the Whittier Village Festival for 10 years.  She has choreographed Othello at the annual Grove Shakespearean Festival.  She has been a performer and teacher on the cruise ship SS Oceanic, the choreographer for the Miss America Preliminary Pageant in 1998 and is the Director/Choreographer of the Sultan's Delites. Stories from Fahtiem are included in the newly published book Belly Laughs by Rod Long.
