Once fairly shy, Renaud blossomed three and a half years ago when she bought herself a pole and began practicing at home. “It’s helped me through a lot of difficult situations; it was the comfort I needed when my friends were busy and it let me express my emotions.” But that’s not the only thing that’s changed. “I have a better, fitter body than before I had my son,” she laughs. “The biggest change was putting on muscle mass. It’s also changed my attitude about health. I’m now studying to become a holistic nutritionist.”
